School Rocks!
School Rocks!
Every day I go to school
It is fun and it is cool
When the bell rings
We do cool things
Some are playing all around
Some are playing at the playground
Before it's morning tea
We go to wash our hands
Because we play in the sand

Arataki Trip
Arataki
On Wednesday the senior school went to Arataki Visitors center to Learn about the native tree’s.
We went to see the Tea tree, Flax, Tarata, and Nikau palm. Instead of using a tea bag you can pick it from tea trees. After that we went for a bush walk and I heard a tui bird mocking other birds. Next we went to see the kauri tree. It is 700 year’s old. After that we went to the visitors center to do a crossword. When we finished we went to the frame to take a photo. After that we were going to walk back in the bush but we did not have enough time.
When we got back to school we had to put our inquiry book in our desk. When I got home I felt amazing because it was my first time at Arataki. After that we watched a movie called Waitakere ranges.

Arataki Trip
Arataki trip
On 11 May we went to the Native bush at Arataki. When we arrived at Arataki we had morning tea. After that there’s was some visitor told us to clean our shoe for the long walk and the sick Kauri tree. We were walking in the bush and everybody saw “a tui!” The special thing is it can mock other birds calls. We also saw the biggest Kauri tree but that one is sick. It won’t lost that long.
After that we went back to have lunch. When we were done Miss Kay told us to come fast so we can go to the visitor center. We got there like about 5 minute because we weren’t listening to the teacher. Miss Kay told us to sit on the chair. When we stopped talking Miss took us up the stairs. My leg was so tired because of the bush walk and the stairs but lucky we are already there. Miss split us into two people. I was with Aj for the word find. After that we came down for the movie it was called the Arataki Ranger’s. The movie was so cool because it showed everything about Arataki.
Finally we went back to school. It was fun and awesome. I enjoyed myself at Arataki.

Cats
Cats
I like a cat,
Which is not fat
It should catch a rat
that is running on the mat.
I’ll play with my cat
and put it in a hat
like cat in the hat.
